Any updates on if/when this functionality will be available?

It's been over a year since cPanel rolled out its mail node version and there's been no feedback on 'when' JB will be supporting the mail node for backups. I got the same answer when I asked the question in a support ticket.

Is this a situation we need to find another backup solution for?

We're still waiting as well. Not sure what the holdup is.
