Hello,
Often we are working remotely from our datacenter/work. Our network connection is often limited in bandwidth to our cpanel servers.
Our cpanel servers do not have modern browsers installed. Is there a way of downloading jetbackup backups to a shell using curl, wget, or lynx or similar?
A one time URL with or without password authentication would be very useful in these circumstances.

Re: Download backup to linux shell
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out through our forums. I would like to note that our JETAPI may be the easiest way to generate and access your JetBackup Backup Downloads through the terminal. Please have a look at our JETAPI documentation for the version of JetBackup you have installed:
JetBackup 5: https://docs.jetbackup.com/v5.1/api/Dow ... loads.html
JetBackup 4: https://docs.jetbackup.com/manual/whm-a ... nload.html and https://docs.jetbackup.com/manual/whm-a ... nload.html
Please let us know if you require assistance using the JETAPI to gather the download links.

Re: Download backup to linux shell
Hello
Glad we could be of assistance! I would like to note that downloads generated with JetBackup JETAPI are stored locally on the server under the downloads workspace.
In JetBackup 4 this is a .jbm folder under each account's home directory.
In JetBackup 5 this is a folder located at /usr/local/jetapps/usr/jetbackup5/workspace/download/
Please feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.
