I get the following error when I click on the JetBackup icon in WHM after installing it.
Fatal error: Can't connect to the database in /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/jetbackup/common.php on line 60
I could not find any information on this error.

Hi,
Seems like the automated installation was not able to create a MySql user and authenticate.
Please try the following -
1. Completely remove JetBackup
2. Install a fresh copy from the EDGE tier.
You can select update tier from the JetApps menu inside WHM -
https://docs.jetapps.com/jetbackup/upgrading
Since JetBackup 3.2, we are not using MySQL anymore so this should resolve your issue
Thanks,
Eli.

Hi,
The Edge tier works. However, I got the following error.
Error while trying to validate your License.
Error: Could not resolve host (
https://check.jetlicense.com)
I have not purchased the license yet because I am still trying it out.
Will I need to buy the license to solve the problem?

Hi,
This shouldn't happen. I am not sure what's the issue here...
Can you please open a support ticket with us providing your server login details so we can have a look ?
Thanks,
Eli.

Hi,
The error went away after I have purchased the license.
