I have installed and set this up. I started a weekly backup with incremental and it is saving to an offsite ftp storage. The server has 241 accounts and it is already on day 2 and has only completed 94 accounts. I

Is this because the first backup is a full ?

Is it because copying to an offsite ftp site is very slow?

Are there ways I can speed this up?

Hi,

It's normal for FTP based copy to take long, because ftp by it's nature is "slower" then rsync.
Once you reach the incremental rotation level, backup should be running faster.

Note that the faster method would be rsync over ssh
