S3 Compatible - Oracle Cloud

Post by spongetort »

am trying to create an S3 Compatible destination to an Oracle Cloud bucket:
JetBackup writes the ".writecheck" file in the bucket, and even creates "Backup directory"
( have verified access keys etc are working on S3 browser )

however, keep getting the same error always (even when using Custom Vendor)

Error: Registering Destination... Failed - Error: Either the bucket named 'bucket-name' does not exist in the namespace 'name-space' or you are not authorized to access it (NoSuchBucket)

obviously JetBackup ha access to the bucket, because it is creating directories and check file.

Hello spongetort,

The following error is usually caused by misconfiguring the destination or missing permissions:

Code: Select all

Error: Registering Destination... Failed - Error: Either the bucket named 'bucket-name' does not exist in the namespace 'name-space' or you are not authorized to access it (NoSuchBucket)
As an initial check, can you please verify that the user associated with the access key is able to read, write, and remove files/folders in the bucket? The ".writecheck" file should not exist on the destination and should have been removed after JB confirms that writing to the destination is possible.

If the issue persists, please contact our Tech Support team by emailing [email protected] or through your JetApps Client Area.
