[ERROR] User didn't return any password

Post by andersonouverney837 »

Hello.
We are experiencing a specific error and would like to check what we can do to resolve it.

One of our customers has a dedicated server with cpanel, so they have root access and can create a database and make any adjustments they deem necessary.

The backup routines are working fine, with the exception of the following error:
[ERROR] User didn't return any password

I would like to know what we can do to be able to correct the error.
I really would not like to disable the rule option that backs up bank users.

Hello andersonouverney837,

This issue is commonly encountered when JetBackup attempts to perform a backup on a database user that does not have a password set on the associated host. To resolve this issue, you can assign a password to the database user in question.
