Notification don't work as expected

Post by petarkozic »

Hi,
I have setup monthly backup job which run every 1st in the month.
I set under that job to notify me if there no backup for 30 days like on screenshot, but I get every day notification on mail:

The backup job "Monthly" didn't ran for 8 days and the backup job was configured to notify you if this backup job isn't running for 1 days.
The backup job "Monthly" didn't ran for 9 days and the backup job was configured to notify you if this backup job isn't running for 1 days.
and so on...

Hello Petarkozic,

Thank you for reaching out to us via the forums. We are sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
"Notify me if there were no backups for" value is being set to the "Notify me if backup runs more than" field when set via the GUI and vice versa
The problem you are facing is a known issue with our team and is fixed in the JetBackup5 version 5.2+, which is on the EDGE tier.

As a temporary workaround, please try flipping the values of both fields.

If the issue persists, please feel free to reach out to our 24/7 support team at [email protected]
Best Regards,
Cristofer, JetApps Team
